Roger, a thirty-something father of two, has reached the point in his life when he questions everything: his creativity, his career and even love. In this 7th year of his marriage Roger's wife, Jen, his two children and mother-in-law take off to Hawaii on vacation. Roger would have to fend for himself and finish his "big break" movie score, on deadline for the end of the week. Our story begins as Roger is rudely awakened by his anxious kids, Alex, 7 and Sedona, 5. His Hawaiin bound wife has preparred for an impromptu birthday cake for his son, Alex. After a quick song, face plant and photo of the birthday moment, Roger was far from pleased to hear that, of all things, his wife had arranged to have her old Yoga teacher stay in the guest cottage for a week, effective today. Roger cannot imagine Jens old yoga teacher hanging out around his home, but when she finally arrives she isnt quite what he envisioned. Roger finds himself face to face with the enchanting and open-minded stunning Gillian who is so unaware of her affect on men. Roger can barely concentrate when Gillian in the back yard doing her yoga workout. Add to this the nurturing and guru nature of the naïve instructor along with her body from heaven and you have one troubled husband of 7 years. The movie takes place over 7 days, each day creating more and more tension as the trust and common experience grows between these two thrown together characters, Roger and Gillian. The circumstances that our hero finds himself in are challenging to even the most devoted husband. The neighborhood curiosity seeker Ann Marie continues to question poor Roger on every walk of her little white dog. And in spite of the films completely comedic character, Gillian's chakra tutorial will go down as one of the most sensuous scenes ever sucked up through a lens, full of cinematic and spiritual innuendo. With the passing of each day Roger's life seems to fall apart at the seams, and then finally just rip wide open. By the 7th day, he questions his life, his love and his will to face his marriage. By the very last night before his family returns Roger is vulnerable in every way. Naturally, Gillian finds Roger in such a fragile state that she decides this is a man that must be healed right away. But what happens the morning after when the entire family arrives 12 hours earlier than expected only to discover Roger sleeping on the couch with the lovely Gillian. Does poor Roger get his music done, does he survive the week?
